          เป็นเรื่องที่เราคงไม่ปฏิเสธ ว่าหนังสือนั้นเป็นเสมือนกับโลกอีกใบที่นำเราไปพบกับความอัศจรรย์ครั้งใหญ่ของชีวิต การอ่านคือการเปิดประตูนำเราสู่จินตนาการและความรู้อันไม่มีวันสิ้นสุด และเนื่องในโอกาสวันอ่านหนังสือทั่วอเมริกา หรือ Read Across America Day ครั้งที่ 17 เมื่อวันที่ 3 มีนาคม 2557 เว็บไซต์ฮัฟฟิงตันโพสต์ จึงได้หยิบยกที่สุดของคำพูดเกี่ยวกับหนังสือ จากทั้ง 15 คนต่อไปนี้ มาเพื่อกระตุ้นและให้แรงบันดาลใจแก่เรา ให้ได้รู้สึกถึงอำนาจของหนังสือ ที่สามารถเป็นได้ทั้งเพื่อน แหล่งความรู้ ความบันเทิง และให้แรงบันดาลใจแก่เราได้อีกครั้ง ซึ่งแต่ละถ้อยคำจะบอกเล่าถึงความอัศจรรย์ของหนังสืออย่างไรนั้น ไปดูพร้อม ๆ กันเลย
